Developed a cost control and budgeting system for a nuclear power plant. Designed inputs for the system including data entry screens GL and EIS interfaces. Developed system test plan and script. Assumed lead analyst and key user interface responsibilities for the coding and enhancement phase of the project. Coordinated programming departments in a multi-company, multi-city, politically charged environment. The effort required dealing with three levels of programmer management representing over thirty programmers in two different cities. Represented the plant in the corporate development of a contractor and employee time entry system. Developed project plan, schedule, specifications and test plan for the plant's requirements. Coordinated data transfers, sister company and vendor-provided support. Directed testing, training, documentation and presentation efforts. (Contract)

Responsible for mainframe full development life cycle on numerous corporate planning, strategic planning, capital budgeting and process modeling decision support systems for the electric and gas utility industry. Tasks on a typical four-to-nine-month project included supervision and training of MBA level management consultants or client personnel, requirements analysis and specification, logical and physical design of data and programs, user and technical documentation, coding, and unit, system and acceptance testing. Each project required rapid development of professional level skills in new hardware/software environments, development of very high quality maintainable code and the ability to effectively interface with clients from the executive offices to programming departments.
