Developed the largest, most detailed and complex plant accounting and construction model ever produced by Planmetrics. Satisfied the client despite difficulties regarding the scope of the effort.

1984-1985 Texas New Mexico Power Co., Ft Worth, Texas
Installed construction and plant accounting model.

1984-1985 Pennsylvania Power, Greensburg, Pennsylvania (and telecommute from Chicago)
Installed and customized construction and plant accounting model.

1984-1985 Planmetrics Inc., Chicago, Illinois
Developed a semi-canned construction and plant accounting software product designed to fit the needs of a wide variety of utility clients. Installed and customized the Model at client locations with significant savings in labor and travel costs. The effort included specification, design, coding, testing and documentation for the system.

1983 Northeast Utilities, Inc., Berlin, Connecticut
Trained and supervised client financial analysts in the specification, design, coding and testing of the construction and plant accounting, operations and maintenance, and capital structure (debt and equity finance) models. Used PRICE CPL's to automate part of the coding process.  Converted the system from PRIME to IBM.  This assignment was the beta site for a new fourth generation modeling language (GPOS-7).

1983 Dow Jones & Company, Inc., Princeton, New Jersey
Developed major enhancements to a confidential executive compensation system.

1983 Planmetrics Inc., Chicago, Illinois
Provided client support and supervised customization for a FORTRAN strategic integrated financial modeling system. The system contained parameter driven automatic finance routnes.

1982 Interstate Power Co., Dubuque, Iowa
Designed and implemented the consolidated finance and capital structure models for this multijurisdictional electric and gas utility. Developed a simple FORTRAN code generator using Prime CPL which allowed coding of the consolidated finance model in one quarter of the normal required time.

1982 Planmetrics Inc., Chicago, Illinois
Provided support for numerous minor software projects and utility industry studies including work for the Department of Energy, Edison Electric Institute and Houston Light & Power.

1982 Northern Illinois Gas Company, Naperville, Illinois
Developed major enhancements to a gas well model and a profit and loss model.

1981 Iowa Resources (Iowa Power, Iowa Gas), Des Moines, Iowa
Supervised director level client personnel in the construction of the gas supply, cost and dispatch model and developed a parameter driven operations and maintenance models as a part of the planning system for this company during a major corporate restructuring.

1981 Iowa Electric Company, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Designed, coded and implemented a construction and plant accounting model.

1982 Planmetrics Inc., Chicago, Illinois
Designed and coded a debt and equity finance model.
